As a central midfielder, he signed with Tikvesh in North Macedonia and after moving to Europe scored once after playing 10 matches which is quite impressive for a Nigerian. 

Why football club scouts follow 1xCup so closely

After 3 seasons, everyone can see that the tournament is properly organized and the outreach is on point. 

Scouts are aware that Lagos’ most promising players are coming to compete and they are provided with the best conditions to play football. 

But this year’s 1xCup is on a new level. For the 1xCup 2026 edition, it is going to be the first time: 

1. All 5 adminstrative divisions of Lagos will be featured 

2. 100+ amateur clubs are going to be competing 

3. The prize money to be won is ₦20,000,000 (20 million naira) 

This is the 4th season of the tournament and it promises to be intriguing and entertaining. 

There’s going to be a qualifier where 24 of the best teams will be dividied into 6 groups and these will compete for 16 spots in knockout stage. 

The knockout stage is where the scouts are going to be present and they are going to be watching the games.
